AAA’s Carinya classic awning windows also uniquely feature the flexibility of two frame widths and multiple sash options. Our standard Carinya residential awning window frames come with a designer bevelled edge, however, wide sash options are available for high-end residential applications. The frames also feature an incorporated integrated hinge design to achieve a clean and modern finish. AAA’s residential awning windows are available in a wide range of colours and styles as well as in a variety of standard and custom configurations to suit your specific style and needs. Our variety of colour options can be finished by either powder coating or anodising and our helpful experts can also guide you through the process of finding the right colour and finish to fit your building project.
Weather performance
Like all of our windows, our residential awning windows have been designed to withstand even the most demanding of weather conditions. Our range of sill options promote increased structural performance, water performance and design flexibility, and have been specifically engineered to meet a variety of wind load requirements up to the harshest cyclonic conditions. Our classic residential awning windows have also met and exceeded the testing and compliance required for both cyclonic and bushfire compliance.
Compliance
AAA’s focus on security and quality means that our aluminium awning windows across all of our ranges have been engineered and tested for full compliance and in accordance with Australian construction codes and standards.
Pest protection
Our residential awning range has been designed to be compatible with our standard fibreglass and aluminium insect screening which provides superior protection against insects and unwanted pests.
Wind load requirements
Our classic residential awning window screening systems have undergone extensive independent NATA accredited testing to ensure they exceed all structural, water, and debris impact performance requirements for cyclone regions C and D.

AAA’s Carinya classic residential awning range has been specifically designed to be environmentally friendly. Our window systems are constructed from 100% recyclable aluminium and were designed to be compatible with all major forms of eco-friendly glazing options.

Hardware
Our classic residential awning windows feature premium commercial grade hardware and have been designed with a focus on safety, security and style. All windows feature the option of a lockable or non-lockable handle as well as concealed fixings and sleek endcaps. Unique safety features such as corner protectors also set us apart from other awnings on the market.
All Carinya windows come with a commercially based aluminium corner stake and screw fixings for an extremely strong and durable sash. The range features the flexibility of two frame widths and multiple sash options. Our sashes also feature commercial grade aluminium for durability and performance and our chain winders come in standard or restricted lengths that are suitable for both residential and commercial environments.
Screening Options
Testing and Compliance
Our Carinya classic residential awning range has undergone extensive independent NATA accredited cyclonic compliance testing to ensure structural, water and debris impact performance requirements for cyclone regions C and D.
In addition to meeting cyclonic compliance standards, our awning window range has been fully tested to meet or exceed both Australian Standards AS2047, AS1170, AS1191 and AS3959, and Bushfire Attack Level 40 (BAL40).
Our awning window systems meet the national requirement of the construction code for the Protection of Openable windows for all new construction where windows are positioned 2 metres above the ground floor. AAA’s unique patented KidScreen Window Fall Prevention design also provides a cost effective barrier solution to ensure the safety of children.
